sing a song!
I've been doing a bit of sewing whilst on wipe out week!
Guess what, I'm half way through though my chemo! can you believe it, Cycle 3 of 6 cycles!... only 3 left, yes! half way! fan-blooming-tastic, that's something to sing about!
This ones been a bit tougher, but my rubber bits are bouncing back now and my energy is creeping back! Thank goodness, it's just so hard laying there while family life busies around you, I just feel so useless!
To keep me smiling my mum gave me the full 3 series of Gavin and Stacey to watch, I missed ever watching it when it came out so it was all new to me, which is fab when you've the whole thing in front of you and don't have to wait till the next week to see what happens.
So I've been laughing my way through it all,
James Corden and Ruth Jones are just brilliant writers!...
Sing a song!:)
Oh I love this - I'm going to pin it!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you still have it in you to work through the Chemo. Stay strong xx

ReplyDeleteglad you are doing good through it lisa, good luck with the last stint XXX
ReplyDeleteYay for half way and glasses half full - you are great!
ReplyDeleteLove the sewing Lisa, It looks like everything is breezing away from the character, and I love the little birds again! How fantastic that you are now over the brow of the hill, keep going and laughing along the way, downhill hopefully to the end of the treatment. A friend of mine watched all the blackadder episodes, and laughed her way out of fedupness!! It's a good idea. X Julie
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces, fantastic spirit. All the best.
ReplyDeleteThose little birds make me want to sing! You must be over HUMP day by now ;-) I hope that isn't just an Aussie saying?
ReplyDeleteWell done lady! Gorgeous work x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling like sewing as that's a good sign and you do such fantastic work. I love watching a TV series on DVD because sometimes one episode just isn't enough. I missed Gavin & Stacey while it was on so if I'm to see what it's all about I'll have to do what you're doing. Recently I've been making my way through Doctor Who which I've also missed watching.
