Lil Sonny Sky's book of the week...

Recycling things to make and do published by Usborne, is a great children's craft book using everyday throw away objects such as old magazines, loo rolls and bottle tops, in a wonderfully creative way.

Sparking ideas, this book is a great rainy day book for inspiration and reference. At £4.00 it's not very expensive and most of the materials required can be found in the recycle bin or junk drawer ( you know that drawer, that stores those bits that might come in handy but never do, like left over bits of ikea self assemble furniture etc!)

Sky wanted to do this project last weekend...

Ta Daaa......

I love how Sky uses the book for ideas but interprets it in her own style, I love her little smiley bird with a nosey beak!

  3. Thanks for the inspiration on how to use up left over carboard... from Ikea furniture. It came with some wonderful accordion folded pieces as filler packing which just have to be used somehow........ :)
