It's held at the indoor market in Holmfirth 10am - 4pm and there is another one to be held next Sunday 13th June.....
but be warned.....
everything is soooo wonderful you'll want to remortgage the house and buy everything!
Lil & I were in ore of the talent, and the gorgeous things on display...Lil didn't want to leave!
Here is the The Art Market site & blog.
Helen Shere from Shere Design has the most beautiful jewelry. You may have seen some of her work favourited in my Etsy sidebar.
I bought the fab earrings above but wanted to buy everything! so beautifully made...
Made at Green View was there and I couldn't resist this gorgeous purse! So beautifully made, Geraldine has such a great eye for gorgeous fabrics, pattern and colour.
Laura Slater is a textile designer who screen prints her own fabric then turns them into the most wonderful cushions, lamp shades and original fabric wall art.
There is a 50's feel to the pattern style with a modern twist, they look so classic and timeless.
See more of Laura's gorgeous work and the inspiration behind it at her site and her blog Thread of thought.
There was also Deb Price's fabric sculptures and wonderful jewelry on display.
At her stand was a large version of this little birdy called Walter, and beautiful story necklaces made from vintage buttons. You can see more of Deb Prices work at Whinnies in Holmfirth in the White Rose Gallery, and Deb's site here.
Wooooo, do you know what? I could go on forever!
Gorgeous ceramics by Emily Stubbs
Amazing sculpture by Samantha Bryan
If you're around the Holmfirth area next Sunday the 13th, pop into the market, it's different artists next week so they'll be a whole new selection of art, sculpture, jewelry, textiles and ceramics to see.
Eeee what a busy inspirational Monday!
I'm gutted! I've spent the last 3 weeks combing the interweb trying to find something really amazing for a friend's 40th birthday, and failed. And here you are pedalling EXACTLY the kind of thing (the jewelry) I was looking for. About 6 days too late. Oh well, will keep in mind for future birthday pressies! My sister turns 40 next year...I'll start saving now...
